Brand Identity
Windracers means Norse kenning (or figure of speech) for horses. Sleipnir is the legendary eight-legged horse ridden by Odin which is considered the best of all horses — this fundamental was the inspiration for our logo mark. Approachable and honest, the vibrant color palette pairs with the primary shapes that create the Windracers identity, giving an energetic and full of life tone to the Windracers brand without appearing overly primary or elementary.
We worked closely with Windracers to develop a brand voice and tone that fit the overall mission and vision of the company. Crafting an empathic, optimistic, and scientifically sharp tone was key to engaging a wide audience across a variety of interests (humanitarian aid, technology, science, and lifestyle). We needed to communicate two things: the uniqueness of the Windracers platform, and the humanitarian aid insights that they offer people today and years into the future.

Website
Inspired by the infinite possibilities of airplanes, Windracers looked for ways to communicate the transportation services for the distribution of humanitarian aid and for research and the protection of the environment. To introduce the product and the mission, we designed an interaction that shows a progression of focus from a aid delivery issues to the flying product. An airplane, however, is not the end of the story.
With photography websi.design was able to make a clear connection between Windracers and the way we help people in need. Importantly, Windracers is based upon a legacy of engineering and applied science, and humanitarian aid is a true differentiator of the company. Websi.design sought creative ways to educate users about the effects of aid delivery and the efficacy of the technology.
