Distributed Avionics
Distributed Avionics’ core philosophy is based around the removal of all single points of failure (SPoF) from within an avionics system design. A ‘patent-pending’ architectural innovation successfully removes all SPoFs which directly enables much higher levels of system integrity. With increased integrity, there is a clear increase in system reliability.
Distributed Avionics believe that for the current generation UAVs the operator is still the most destructive SPoF within the system. It is vital that the control of a given UAV can also be distributed in the event that a single operator is compromised.
In order for W Autonomous Systems to be both a technology company and a people company, we needed a new way to think about tech that didn’t ask us to ration our attention. The answer — ambient technology that adapts to us.
